Dangerous heat index forecast in 32 areas on June 1

MANILA, Philippines — Dangerous heat indices are forecast in 32 areas across the country, including Metro Manila’s weather station at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) in Pasay City, on Monday, June 1, the state weather bureau reported. According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), Naia’s heat index is expected to reach 42°C.
